Meat in Costume

Isn't this appetizing? It's squab dressed as toad. Yes, really. You can make pigeons look like amphibians and serve them. What could be stranger?
Perhaps, maybe chicken dressed as knight? This is a medieval recipe, known as Coqz Heaumez, with a roast piggie for a royal steed. Is it possible to get anything stranger?
Why yes, yes it is. Here we see a pair of cockentrices, medieval frankenfood made by crossing the chicken with the pig. Have your Jenny Hannivers and eat them too!

I have been to several medieval theme grounds myself but never saw a feast such as these. Seems authentic. But I do saw jousts that are a re-enactment of the medieval jousts. The horses were supplied by horse riding sydney.
