Well, I have just attended BayCon, my good old local con, and had a blast. My friend and occasional co-author, Seanan McGuire, was Chairperson (or Chairbabe as her badge ribbon said) and much fun was had by all, except for the occasional disaster, like the air conditioners failing due to sucking a garbage bag into the air intake. But beyond that, the disasters were not terribly noticeable, and the convention was good.

Better, I have just been invited to be a guest at Conjecture in October. Much is good.

Have not been maintaing the blog much, due to skiing and cons, but am back now, temporarily. Leaving shortly for Phoenix, to visit my friend Mickey and his new wife, Kaja. More later, but it is hot now and I'm going to use the pool. Ah, woe is me....

I felt sorry for myself for I had no hot tub...then I met a man who had no pool!

Actually, I have a hot tub, but I need to clean and heat it. Alack, alas and welladay!
